The City is revitalizing Nipigon Park, located at 540 Nipigon Street, and is seeking community input to help shape its design. Share your thoughts on preferred playground equipment, accessibility features and other improvements that will enhance the park for all users.
The new design will consider feedback from residents and will focus on providing engaging and creative play opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities. Proposed improvements being considered include accessible pathways, new play equipment, seating, a new shade structure, native plants, and revitalized ball diamonds.
Feedback will be received until noon on Monday, June 8, 2026, and will be considered in the selection of the equipment and accessibility features that may be installed in the park.
Construction is currently proposed for 2027, subject to approval through the Mayor’s Budget process.
