    The City of Oshawa is pleased to report that despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Oshawa recorded nine building records in 2020:

    Ensuring that community safety is the upmost priority, Oshawa City Council has approved the 2020 Fire Master Plan and Community Risk Assessment in addition to significant investments in Oshawa Fire Services.

    The City of Oshawa is proposing to reconstruct Conlin Road West from the west City limits to 250 metres west of Stevenson Road North. The works will include paved shoulders / bike lanes and multi-use path.

    The City of Oshawa has retained CIMA+ to complete the detailed design for a single-lane and future multi-lane roundabout at the intersection of Conlin Road East and Grandview Street North.

    On behalf of Mayor Dan Carter who was unavailable on City business, Regional Councillor Tito-Dante Marimpietri, Chair of the Development Services Committee, was recently on hand to celebrate Marlin Spring’s groundbreaking ceremony for the new Symphony Towns development.

    In spring 2019, the Oshawa community was asked to provide input on the development of a parking strategy that would outline recommendations related to parking requirements for residential uses citywide, including in Transportation Hubs and Intensification Corridors, and for all types of uses in Downtown Oshawa. Preliminary findings and recommendations for the Citywide Parking Study are now available and the City is once again looking for feedback.
