Consultation has concluded
Oshawa is one of 45 communities in Ontario selected to participate in a 3-year program designed to improve the health of children aged 12 years and under.
Led by the City of Oshawa, a team of community partners are working together to implement local programs and activities that focus on physical activity and healthy eating. Currently, we are focusing on the theme of “Water Does Wonders!”.
Schools & Childcare Centres: Share your Water Journey/Diary
We are experiencing some technical difficulties the site administrator has been notified, please bear with us.
Community childcare centres and local Oshawa elementary schools can post their journey's/diaries on our Stories tab. Be sure to post some pictures for bonus marks!

Our Healthy Kids Family Pledge was from December 1, 2016 to January 7, 2017 (12:00 p.m. E.S.T.). Families who entered during this time were entered into a draw for a chance to win great prizes from local businesses.
Your family can challenge themselves by pledging to:
Play everyday! Get 60 minutes a day.
Drink up! Water Does Wonders! Choose water.
Eat right! Choose veggies and fruit for snacks!
Sleep tight! Get a good night's sleep every night.
