Consultation has concluded
Oshawa residents, businesses and community members are invited to share their feedback on the development of a strategy to modernize services using technology and data.
The Corporate GIS and Data Strategy project is being undertaken by the City and consultant, Geographic Technologies Group (GTG), to identify opportunities and achieve efficiencies by using City data and geospatial technology more consistently and effectively across the organization. The City aims to become a data informed organization to modernize service delivery and improve customer experience.
The project will develop a five-year Corporate GIS & Data Strategy to be completed this fall. The strategy will formalize and expand the City’s use of GIS and data ensuring that services provided to Oshawa residents and businesses are data driven and progressive.
Community members are invited to complete the feedback form here on Connect Oshawa or on paper at Service Oshawa, located at City Hall (50 Centre St. S.).
Feedback will be received until noon on Friday, June 24, 2022 and considered in the development of the Corporate GIS and Data Strategy project.
