The City of Oshawa wants to hear your thoughts on the proposed Election Sign By-law!
The proposed By-law addresses where election signs can be placed in the city during municipal, provincial and federal elections, fines and fees associated with sign removal or non-compliance with the By-law and size and type of signs.
If approved, the proposed By-law would modernize the regulation of the placement of elections signs in Oshawa. Community members can review the proposed By-law online and provide feedback:
online on Connect Oshawa; or,
on paper at Service Oshawa (located at City Hall, 50 Centre St. S.) during regular business hours.
Feedback will be received until 12 p.m. Monday, September 11 and shared with the Corporate and Finance Services Committee later this year.
